CLIMBING YOUR MOUNTAIN

In a competitive job search environment, there is constant pressure placed on job seekers to stay motivated and productive whilst seeking employment i.e. to get a job.

Climbing Your Mountain is a practical based program that utilises the experiential learning model of “learning through doing” and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques as its prime method of delivery. It is about equipping participants with the right attitude, tools and techniques needed to stay motivated, reach beyond perceived limitations and achieve great personal success in seeking and maintaining sustainable, full-time employment.

We empower individuals to exceed their expectations by placing them in various challenging & stimulating situations. The skills and knowledge gained through their experiences will be transferred into each individual's current situation in seeking employment. The learning can also be applied to their personal lives.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
A process that looks at the relationship between our thoughts, communication and patterns of behaviour. NLP assists individuals to realise and achieve their desired outcome by looking at the connection between what goes on in the mind (what we see, hear, feel, taste and smell) and our attitudes and behaviour (action).

The program aims to:
Stimulate individual’s physical and mental development in a fun, challenging and supportive environment
• Enhance self esteem and motivation
• Discover and explore inner thoughts, beliefs and attitudes
• Improve communication and conflict resolution skills
• Promote risk taking
• Identify and extend personal and team comfort zones
• Demonstrate the power of positive self-talk
• Reveal vital keys to deal with fears and challenges
• Identify individual strengths and weaknesses
• Enhance team unity, trust and cooperation
• Enhance personal effectiveness
• Teach strategies for effective goal setting
• Demonstrate effective problem solving techniques
